Title:
Bon Voyage Matthew!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yesterday was the final outing with Matthew before he took a flight to United Kingdom early this morning. We went to have dinner at Xin Wang Taiwan Cafe at City Link Mall and drank at brotzeit bar. Matthew speak to the bartender with British accent and trashed talked using Tamil accent. Daamn! I will upload the video if once it is in my hands. Matthew is a very nice friend to have. You will never be bored with him around. I met this funny guy in NS and my first impression of him was "wow", like something is wrong with him. That's why never judge a book by it's cover. I can vividly recall one incident where we were nearly killed. As we both were technicians in Army, replacing batteries was one of the very basic task we had to perform. We both agreed that I will take out the flat batteries and he will fix the new ones. After I've completed my task, Matthew went down the turret and put the four batteries in place. Just when everything seemed to go very smoothly, the charged earth cable slipped off his hand swung 360 degrees. Every point the earth cable touches the hull of the vehicle, you will see spark. So I saw a five seconds fireworks in the turret. After he grabbed hold of the cable, he still can look up at me and smiled like a mad scientist. After the crazy smile followed a chain of smoke coming out from the turret hatch. Just imagine the feeling of putting your face near the incinerator. We are very fortunate be alive. All the best in your studies at Imperial College! |
